Northrop Grumman is hiring an experience Systems/ Principal Space Systems Engineer in Linthicum, MD. Successful candidates will perform electrical engineering tasks including:

- Antenna/RF system test using RF test equipment,
- RF-IF downconversion,
- Maintaining equipment calibrations,
- Verifying system performance,
- Working with test software team to develop test scripts
- Working with Mission Assurance to maintain rack certifications,
- Working with Mission Assurance to perform tests for production assets,
- Creating and maintaining test plans.

Candidate must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through all channels.

This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below:

MSBALTECM
Basic Qualifications for Space Systems I&T Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree and 2 years of related integration and test experience, 0 years with a Masters Degree.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance or higher required.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Space Systems I&T Engineer:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree and 5 years of related integration and test experience, 3 years with a Masters Degree, 0 years with a PhD.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance or higher required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI, or ability to obtain SCI.
