Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Tritonprogramis seeking anEngineering Manager (EM) who will serve as the lead for IPT engineering support, providing communications to/from program management, operations, sustainment, customers, and other IPTs.
The MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft system (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions.
Based on the proven Global Hawk UAS, Triton's autonomous operations are supported by land-based command and control mission planners and sensor operators. Triton will be equipped with a unique and robust mission sensor suite that provides 360-degree coverage on all sensors, providing unprecedented maritime domain awareness for the U.S. Navy.
The EM will:
Be responsible for technical quality and performance, budget (cost), schedule and risk and opportunity for the IPT's engineering content;
Provide design oversight and configuration management for IPT products; manage technical personnel on the program;
Lead technical reviews and assessments, including in-process reviews and IPRS reporting of technical progress and issues; and
Coordinate with Engineering Functional Management to staff all engineering positions on the IPT.
He or she will report programmatically to the Triton Program Manager, and will coordinate with the PM and staff to maintain the program work breakdown structure, and integrated master schedule. The EM will track and manage program resources to ensure required engineering support is properly maintained in conjunction with the PM team to meet program needs. He or she will ensure the alignment of measurement objectives and activities to meet program performance goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science degree in a technical area and a minimum of 9 years' experience in software, hardware, network or systems engineering
Have experience in leading engineering teams or IPTs in either in the development of new capabilities or maintaining current system capabilities (O&M or sustainment)
Be experienced in all aspects of the engineering process, from requirements analysis through retirement and a working familiarity with CMMI, ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 15288
Have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Possess effective communication and presentation skills, and be high proficiency in technical problem solving, to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen and with an active TS clearance
Master's Degree in relevant technical area
Certified in one (or more) of the following
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (Certified Level)
- DoD 8140 Level 3 certified
- PMI PMP Certification
