Systems Engineering Manager 2
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are focused in the areas of test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Key performance areas and tool sets required for this position will include configuration management, virtualization, orchestration and fielding activities using both Microsoft Windows and Linux tools. Will need to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within the customer organization including development teams, RMF, test and support organizations. Will be expected to provide incremental capabilities to the warfighter in a timely manner.
Bachelor's Degree with 14 Years of experience or 18 years in lieu of degree
Working knowledge of Air Force ISR and C2 structure
Top Secret Clearance with the ability to get and SCI
Experience working with a military customer
Strong leadership qualities
Experience working on virtualized system
Understanding of the military developmental and operational test processes
Experience with Cloud Computing and DevOps
