Northrop Grumman Aurora Campus has a need for an for a Systems Integration & Test Engineer/Principal Systems Integration & Test Engineerthat has experience in the areas of command and control, mission management, and data processing. The program needs a forward-thinking engineer who will be primarily responsible for the testing and integration of a ground terminal data processing system. Responsibilities will include integration and test of COTS & software for multiple subsystems into a baseline, performing installation and checkout, and assisting in deliveries; develop detailed test procedures; perform system level testing; support execution of stress, performance, external interface, vulnerability, security, factory acceptance tests; generation of discrepancy reports; support to system design; and support to customers for interface definitions, integration environment, etc. Prior command and control and mission management experience is a plus.

This position may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.

This position may be filled as either a Systems Engineer Test or a Principal Systems Engineer Test.
Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer Test:
  • BS in STEM related discipline and 2+ years experience in Element integration, Test Plan/Procedure development and Requirements mapping/verification.
  • Current SCI/SSBI clearance with a current Counter Intelligence polygraph
  • Candidate must have experience with Unix/Linux, Microsoft Windows, VMware, and databases

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Engineer Test:
  • BS in STEM related discipline and 5+ years experience in Element integration, Test Plan/Procedure development and Requirements mapping/verification.
  • Current SCI/SSBI clearance with a current Counter Intelligence polygraph
  • Candidate must have experience with Unix/Linux, Microsoft Windows, VMware, and databases


Preferred Qualifications:
  • DOORS and ClearQuest experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex problems at different levels of detail, coordinating cross-program areas and with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to decompose large, complex problems in components and envision their interactions
  • Technical presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal direction and oversight
