Responsibilities: Senior Systems Engineer will initially rotate to provide technical support and assistance to the JRDC Directors in the areas of Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Development & Test Operations, and Warfighter Support.This rotation will provide the candidate with a good understanding of the JRDC processes, procedures and operations as well as the JRDC and NG management practices. During this rotation the candidate will learn aspects of technical performance, scheduling, and costs associated with the JRDC program. The candidate will participate in the contract deliverables and reports, planning of projects, risk assessment, and ensuring program requirements are met. The candidate will respond to tasking as assigned by the JRDC Program Director, Deputy Program Manager, and the Directors. The selected candidate will rotate across the program in the lines of business supported by the JRDC program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline and 15 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 10 years of experience
- 5 Years MSupervisory experience
- Must have strong leadership and/or management experience.
- Must have leadership experience in resource management, systems engineering, or systems analysis
- Must have an MDA or COCOM background within the last five years
- US citizenship required. Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Knowledge of the overall organization, direction, and requirements of MDA efforts Knowledge of the DoD program acquisition process Leadership background in the BMDS environment at a Senior Level. Possess an Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
