Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 to join our team in Oklahoma City. The systems engineer applies engineering principles and processes to receive, record, and resolve problems with fielded mission
planning systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Participates in all phases of in-plant support and system administration. Works with software developers as a subject matter expert on current mission planning capabilities and Air Force operations. Provides telephone and in-plant support
of the B-2 Mission Planning System (MPS). Provides the organizational interface to operators and customers to solve problems of moderate complexity. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer and operational product
requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis and operational user-based, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Coordinates and leads requirements and corrective action prioritization. Candidate should work with general direction and have the potential to lead technical teams to solve complex problems. Demonstrates new features for early operational looks, prepares and delivers difference training when new software releases are fielded.

Frequent travel to user sites is required. (Whiteman AFB, Offut AFB, Eglin AFB, Space Park, CA)

Work location is Tinker, AFB in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position may be filled at a higher level based on the requirements below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelors Degree in STEMrelated fieldwith 5 or more years experience.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance special background
investigation may be required
Experience with UNIX/Solaris and Windows OS
Experience with current military Mission Planning Systems such as JMPS, AFMSS and/or PFPS

Bachelors Degree in STEMrelated fieldwith9 or more years experience.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance special background
investigation may be required
Experience with UNIX/Solaris and Windows OS
Experience with current military Mission Planning Systems such as JMPS, AFMSS and/or PFPS

Preferred Qualifications:

CompTIA Security+ Certification
Military aircraft mission planning experience to include weapon delivery planning
Familiarity with problem reporting and resolution systems
Possess strong engineering skills
Possess strong technical writing and public speaking skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer 3/4 to join a team designing and building advanced,
state-of-the-art, manned aircraft mission planning system (MPS). The systems engineer will be providing in-plant product
support and systems administration for Windows and UNIX computing systems, applications including AFMSS/MPS and
JMPS and numerous tools to enhance the user support process.
