Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Saint Augustine, FL.

The selected candidate will develop and implement software integration plans in a lab environment supporting various space, aircraft, and ground systems.

Essential Functions:
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Performs analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years of system engineering experience OR
Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 3+ years of system engineering experience
OR 2 years of experience in lieu of each year of education
5+ years of experience in aircraft avionics
5+ years of experience with RF, electrical circuits and electrical systems
Active DoD Secret security clearance with ability to maintain it throughout employment

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with the WRA systems of E2D
Strong understanding of RF characteristics
Previous experience with Test equipment, such as multi-meters, network analyzers, and signal generators
