Systems Engineer to provide technical order and systems engineering support for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) sustainment, modifications, and replacement programs. Responsibilities will center on the acquisition, development and maintenance of technical orders while also supporting program management with engineering assessment activities, as required. Selected individual will work with program/project teams to identify data requirements and develop estimates and schedules. The primary tasks will be the development, coordination, data review and delivery of new data and data change packages for programs. In addition, the selected individual will review existing data for technical accuracy, initiate change recommendations, and improve existing data by consolidating, editing, reformatting and converting specified legacy/active data to an editable electronic format. Successful candidate will also perform process assessment and provide recommendations for improvements. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Eng/Logistics with 5 years of experience,
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on ICBM maintenance or operations experience.
  • Experience with the ICBM weapon system, associated support / test equipment, operations/ maintenance procedures, and knowledge of technical order development and sustainment process is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or level 4

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current SECRET security clearance is preferred. Individual must possess good written and verbal communication skills, and good analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with drawings and specifications is a plus.
