Systems Administrator w/TS/SCI clearance

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's growing SSC PAC support team providing onsite support for research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) programs. Northrop Grumman works closely with many PEO C4I projects to provide state-of-the-art threat protection to the Warfighter. Qualified applicants will be eager to learn and be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.

Qualified team members will work in a collaborative government/contractor environment to maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interact with users and evaluates vendor products. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Basic Qualifications:

    • Must have a BS in computer science or equivalent with6 years of experience.
    • Must have current certified Information Assurance Level II or III with Linux. One of the following will be required: commercial certification or a certificate of completion for LX0-101 and LX0-102 (in lieu of commercial certification, a certificate of completion is acceptable from an authorized training course)
    • Must have at least four (4) years of experience with Unix/Linux system administration.
    • Must have at least four (4) years of experience with DHCP, DNS, and maintaining DoD STIG Compliance.
    • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in security and network/distributed computing concepts, BASH and shell scripting.
    • Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated development experience supporting a tailored agile development model. The tailored agile development model used must be consistent with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
    • Splunk training or experience is preferred
    • Must have current and active TS/SCI clearance.
