Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking multiple System Administrators to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be for multiple locations in the Greater Washington D.C area. This position will be for multiple shifts. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Department of State (DOS) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to provide 24x7x365 IT Operations and Maintenance to modernized and legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.

Roles and Responsibilities may include:

•Provides infrastructure support for Consular Affairs servers, storage platforms, systems, networking equipment, and hosted systems in use at DOS facilities domestically and overseas.

•Responsible for all problems/incidents are logged into the Ticket Management System.

•Provide Windows & Linux Server Hosting support

•Performs health checks, proactive monitoring, and performance management of servers

•Analyze and identify applications and services that degrade server performance.

•Monitor and respond to alerts generated by the Enterprise Event Management and Monitoring capability.

•Provide preventative/remedial maintenance and backups/recovery for infrastructure.

•Provide SW support, including but not limited to; operating systems, virtualization, SW authentications, SW utilities, and schedulers.

•Support storage solutions globally

•Provide support for Oracle appliances installed within the Data Centers

•Support authorized and vendor recognized patching for infrastructure.

•Provide support for infrastructure audits, assessments, and compliance analysis.

•Oversee operations of the CA Data Centers' infrastructure.

•Plan for buildout of new CA infrastructure, to include space, power, network and storage.

•Coordinate, review and manage POC information with IRM for all Enterprise Server

Operations Center (ESOC) Outage notifications.

•Monitor CA's AD domain to provide authentication and authorization services

•Coordinate and collaborate, via CA/CST, with IRM to ensure all DNS, DHCP, and Exchange implementation approaches conform to and integrate with DOS requirements and infrastructure.

•Operate, patch, and maintain SCCM servers
