Systems Administrator 3

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Diego, CA is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator 3 for a Development Network at Spectrum Center. Individual will be responsible AD/Centrify provisioning, OS image installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. In addition to being the primary Linux Admin, this user will be responsible for remediating vulnerabilities that come up and Nessus Security Center scans or work with the POC on record to do so, add users to Windows Active Groups that are added to sudoers and create Linux VM's in VSphere.

Basic Qualifications:
6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters; may consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Systems Administration of Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Enterprise Linux Operating Systems and others.
Active Secret DOD Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
VMware virtualization and management (VSphere 5.x or later); creating vm's, taking snapshots etc
Container based Virtualization
Ansible Configuration Management & Puppet
NAS and SAN technologies (NetApp SAN, EMC SAN, HP NAS)
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Win 7, 10, Server 2008, 12, 16)
Vulnerability remediation via ACAS, Splunk, or Nessus
Atlassian Tools experience (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket etc)
SQL Database creation, query, and manipulation
Scripting in Powershell
Experience with Python
Experience with JIRA
Automation experience
