Northrop Grumman Missions Systems (NGMS) Sector is seeking a Systems Administrator 2/3 to join a support team located at our Aurora, CO location.

This system administrator will primarily be responsible for responding to tickets submitted by users of a laboratory environment. Primary tasks will including:
- Deploy monthly patch updates to Windows machines
- Deploy, manage, maintain, and support Microsoft Windows servers and workstations
- Create and configure VMs within VMWare vSphere
- Create user accounts and administer user privileges within active directory
- Assist users with debugging and resolving identified issues on their systems
- Respond to monitored alerts to quickly identify trouble source and implement resolution
- Assist with implementation of automated processes or functions to improve daily operations as directed
- Assist with implementation of technical security technology and IT projects as directed
- Collaborate in authoring system documentation and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
Systems Administrator 2:
- 3 years of System Administration experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering oranother STEM discipline or 7 years of System Administration Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and Counter-intelligence Polygraph
- Experience loading, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows 7.
- Experience with virtualization and/or cloud technologies such as VMware vSphere, Oracle PCA, Hyper-V, or Amazon Web Services
- Strong background in Windows administration including Active Directory, Group Policy, and WSUS
Systems Administrator 3:
- 6 years of System Administrationexperience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering oranotherSTEM disciplineor 10 years of System Administration will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and Counter-intelligence Polygraph
- Experience loading, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows 7.
- Experience with virtualization and/or cloud technologies such as VMware vSphere, Oracle PCA, Hyper-V or Amazon Web Services
- Strong background in Windows administration including Active Directory, Group Policy, and WSUS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience with implementing infrastructures within Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II or III certification
- Scripting experience with bash, Python, or Powershell
- Experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
