Northrop Grumman is in need of a Systems Administrator. Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 3 years system administrator or IMO experience; or 7 years experience in lieu of a degree
  • Active/Current US Secret Clearance SSBI
  • Current IAT-2 certification
  • Current Windows10 (configurations) certification
  • Ability tocreate and maintenance of user accounts, including limitation of capability and access
  • Current Security+ CE


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of US Army processes and battle rhythms
  • Technical Knowledge in a combination of the following: SSL, VPN, MySQL, Windows Powershell, VDI technologies, Windows Server 2012 / 2012R2
  • VMware Certified Professionals (VCP, VCAP, VCDX)
  • Xxperience with Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS)
