Northrop Grumman is a leading global security company providing innovative systems, products and solutions in unmanned systems, cyber, C4ISR, and logistics and modernization to government and commercial customers worldwide.
The Mission Systems/C4ISR/Communications team focuses on key flight communications for programs like the F22 and F35, as well expanding into the Electronic Battlefield with programs such as CREW. Our Engineering Infrastructure team is a key component in supporting all engineering development teams and driving efficient process improvement; and the System Administrator is a keystone role in the organization.
The System Administrator plays a dual role of managing system and data, while reviewing and supporting process documentation and improvements. We have several third party tools setup to support our development community, such as SharePoint, ShareCenter, and Code Collaborator. While installation and configuration is handled by the IT group, local administration and access control is the System Administrators responsibility. The System Administrator is also responsible for developing web pages and workflows within the SharePoint environment. In addition to the application management the role is also expected to review and manage engineering process documentation.
