F-35 Supervisor has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for leading the manufacturing activities of a given cost center(s) within the F-35 Program, including quality, cost and schedule objectives and factory accountability. This position is responsible for: Providing direction and coaching to mechanics and other production personal in assembly and manufacturing of the F-35. Ensures team members receive the required training and prepares the daily work plans in support of overall program objectives. Provides timely and helpful performance evaluations t employees. Encourages and provides direction for career development of employees, including educational options for highly motivated employees. Provides leadership/direction to ensure all affordability initiatives and opportunities for process improvements are systematically identified, pursued, and supported. Is responsible for the Title V requirements in regards to environmental and air quality guidelines. Must be available to work any shift.
- High school Diploma/GED
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or operations/assembly environment.
- Experience as a lead or supervisor.
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be available to work any shift
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3 years of F-35 manufacturing experience
