Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Support EquipmentEngineer 4to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
Responsible for the design and development of Support Equipment for an Advance Technology Development Center (ATDC) program. Candidate must utilize a Systems Engineering approach to establish ATDC support equipment functional and performance requirements and advance through the concept solution, detailed design, manufacture, test and delivery phases.
Must possess experience in the design of mechanical and electrical military aircraft subsystems and apply this knowledge in the development of support equipment design solutions. Candidate must be a self starter and possess excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. Must be experienced with the Microsoft Office tool suite and proficient with Computer Aided Design (CATIA) and familiar with Team Center. Must be familiar with TeamCenter data management platform. Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong communication and team building skills.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Must have 9 years experience developing/designing product to include technical, analytical and design skills. Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD), Solid Modeling tool (CATIA V5) or other related software tools. Current and active DoD Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and Support Equipment.
