Supply Chain Planning Spec 4

Defines and develops material strategy. Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products. Participates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements. Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools. Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements. Assesses rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements. Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs. Interfaces with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed. Creates/releases requisitions. Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts. Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.

Completes CME vs. WSA workbook to provide visibility into Program's material financial status

Forecasts monthly material receipts through life of program. Assists with material EAC and ETC through coordination with FAs and Program Office.

Supports the identification, assessment, quantification, and mitigation of risks.

Have a basic understanding of the characteristics and requirements for an offshore procurement and foreign purchase.

Coordinates supplier direction meetings (SRR, PDR, CDR, PRs) to provide early identification of potential problems and minimize adverse affects on performance, cost, and schedule.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree with a Minimum 10 + years relevant experience (e.g. cost account management, supplier financial reporting/forecasting and supplier/program/product scheduling) or a Master's degree with a minimum or 8+ years of relevant experience (e.g. cost account management, supplier financial reporting/forecasting and supplier/program/product scheduling)
- High level of proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP.
- Must be eligible for a Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

EVMS experience - Experience on Special Access Programs and Development Programs
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
- Experience with complex manufacturing and processes
- Minimum of 6 years' experience managing /developing suppliers in a high tech industry.
- Top Secret clearance
