Supply Chain Planning Anlyst 3/4

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Mission Systems Sector, Navigation & Maritime Systems Division (NMSD) seeks an employee to join our Global Supply Chain (GSC) team as a Business Operations Band 3/4 Professional. The individual will align to the GSC Business Operations Manager for the NMSD and also collaborate with the Mission Systems GSC Business Operations Manager. The position is a great opportunity to support a diverse business area and the individual shall be able to successfully align, engage, and evaluate many business elements for nine campuses across the U.S.A.

The individual must be able to execute the functions necessary to provide comprehensive business forecasting to predict and establish business solutions related to staffing, material receipts, material EACs, overall GSC performance, and business risk to successfully execute the GSC elements of the Division business portfolio. The individual must be able to coordinate and manage a group of diverse skills, as well as influence others outside his / her specific area of responsibility. The candidate will be required to work closely with the Material Finance community and all business units within the division to assure continuity and consistency in data collection and reporting and with the GSC Systems and Tool group to create and enhance the Supply Chains tools to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate and oversee monthly visibility of Material Receipt forecasting and Current Material Estimating with GSC and Business Management, including onboarding of new requirements for subsets of the division
  • Collaborate on initiatives related to development of key GSC performance metrics
  • Complete division level reporting for IPRS NMSD GSC performance and oversee meetings
  • Manage division Teamsite and Website for GSC and collaborate with Workforce Development Training organization on applicable training activities
  • Ensure battle rhythm of GSC program reviews is maintained

Basic Qualifications:

This position could be hired at a level 3 or a level 4. If hired at a level 3, the basic education and work experience are:

BA/BS Degree with at least six years of experience in Operations, Finance, Business Management and / or Supply Chain environment.

If hired at a level 4, the basic education and work experience are:

BA/BS Degree with at least 10 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Business Management and/or Supply Chain environment.

The requirements require a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and SAP. The individual must have strong communication skills and demonstrated capability and success in understanding metrics, data management and overall business analytics. Must also be eligible for a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated success in leading and influencing peers and other support functions is desired.

Masters in Supply Chain and/or Business Mgmt.
