Supply Chain Planning Anlyst 3
The Supply Chain Program Analyst (SCPA) will be responsible for identification, proposing, and executing the material requirements of complex development and production programs. In this role, the SCPA will work with the Proposal and Program Teams to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of a program. The desired candidate must understand the various aspects of supply chain management - materials management, procurement, subcontracts and supplier quality - in order to support engineering, production, logistics and the program management teams in a classified environment in the performance of their roles and responsibilities. In conjunction with business development efforts, the SCPA will define bid and proposal requirements, schedules and budgets, and draft the initial make/buy plans and supply chain management strategies. The SCPA will also be responsible for conducting the source evaluation and selection process of suppliers during the pricing of all subcontract requirements, prepare proposal inputs and supporting the team in the development of supplier capabilities and risk profiles, presentations and various reports. During the execution of a program, the SCPA will be responsible for working with members of the program team to monitor and provide status of material, procurement and subcontract activities, as well as report on the cost, schedule and quality performance of the supply chain requirements for the program. The SCPA will be responsible for the oversight of supply chain activities being performed on multiple programs.
The SCPA will need to work well in a fast paced, high energy environment, independently manage and prioritize work requirements, and be a motivated self-starter willing to take on challenges spanning multiple functional areas.
The SCPA will need to be able to work under only general supervision and desire to continue to work supply chain programs for a minimum of 3 to 5 years.
- Basic qualification for an SCPA 3 is a Bachelors' degree in a business or technical related discipline and minimum 6 years experience or Masters' with minimum 4 year experience.
- Working knowledge of Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
- Experience working on complex systems for Department of Defense.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of global supply chain operations, logistics, MRP, ERP systems/tools.
- Experience with cost account management, Earned Value, supplier financial reporting/forecasting and supplier/program/product scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP.
- Masters' degree in Supply Chain, Business or Operations.
- Experience working with multiple functions (Business Management, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, Procurement and Program Management) in a matrix environment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing/developing suppliers in a high tech industry diving cost/schedule/quality.
- Proficient in using SAP for material and finance data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex tasks in an efficient manner, with minimal oversight.
