Supply Chain Planning Anlyst 2
The Supply Chain Program Planner (SCPP) will assist with the development and implementation of supply chain strategies in support of the Business Area’s Programs’ requirements. The desired candidate must understand all aspects of Supply Chain Management – materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material cost budgets, supplier development and quality in order to support engineering, production, and the program management teams in the performance of their roles and responsibilities. Candidate will be part of a team responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of suppliers for various programs and for all phases of the procurement effort. In this role, the SCPP will support the Program Teams to evaluate material requirements throughout the life of a program. During the execution of a program, the Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for working with members of the entire supply chain management team to monitor and provide status of material needed to support the Program’s contractual requirements. Additionally procurement and subcontract activities are monitored in order to report on the cost, schedule and quality performance of the supply chain for the program. The SCPP may be responsible for the oversight of supply chain activities being performed on multiple programs, including development programs requiring an understanding of engineering concepts.
- Must have secret clearance to start and to be considered.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience (e.g. cost account management, supplier financial reporting/forecasting and supplier/program/product scheduling/business management/supply chain).
- High level of proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP.
6 years of related experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, FAR and DFARS.
