Supply Chain Bus Op/Compl Sp 3

Develops long-range objectives and strategic plans for the Mission Systems Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth, profitability, and sourcing decisions. Scans environment and conducts market research and assessments to identify business risks and opportunities. Conducts supplier intelligence to understand supply base, predict disruptions, and identify areas for greater supplier collaboration. Vet potential current or new suppliers to determine strategic application within the organization. May recommend financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain GSC strategic and operational plans. Plans and coordinates GSC strategy reviews, GSC investment allocations, and collaborates with finance, business management, sector strategy, business areas, ES+T and division supply chain teams. Lead GSC™s Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) including the identification of strategic objectives, organizational goals, and investment decisions. Monitor mergers & acquisitions and determine potential impact to Northrop Grumman. Support international supply chain strategy initiatives and supplier data analytics projects.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree with 6+ years™ experience or Master degree with 4+ years™ experience in supply chain management, marketing, business management or related field.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, presentation and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

International and US Government experience.
Clearance Top Secret
Ability to understand company financial statements
