We are looking for a Subcontracts Administrator for our Sierra Vista location.

Responsibilities for this position will encompass the full range of the subcontract acquisition process including participation in strategic sourcing decisions, international subcontracting, teaming agreement generation and execution, preparing requests for proposal consistent with customer solicitations, federal statutes and regulations and enterprise policies and procedures, evaluating proposal submissions, identifying risk and mitigation strategies, developing negotiation plans and negotiating, and preparing subcontract files in compliance with Northrop Grumman values, policies, procedures, and practices. This individual will negotiate and integrate different viewpoints as well as collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams to achieve results.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree and 10 years of progressively responsible subcontracts/procurement related experience or MS degree and 8 years of the same type of experience; 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Strong experience working with procurement policies, procedures, and federal regulations (FAR/DFARS) is essential.
The proven ability to work well in a team environment is required.
Candidate must have strong organizational skills, as well as very good oral and written communications.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and apply sound judgment to problem solving required.
Must have proficiency with MS Office Suite of products - Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
General knowledge of FAR/DFARS government contracting regulations
