Structural Analysis Engineer

The successful candidate will develop structural analyses (static, fatigue) in support of design activities, structural modifications, drawing release, fleet maintenance, and manufacturing operations. The candidate will perform classical hand analysis including, but not limited to, free body diagrams, internal or external loading, shear and moment diagrams, and calculation of internal stresses and component life as necessary. Finite element analysis experience expected. The ability to concisely present and explain structural issues and solutions to internal (team members / management) is required; therefore strong documentation and communication skills are required.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of2 years' experience in structural analysis; or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
Active In-scope DoD secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain special program access
Experience with metallic and composite structures
Experience with random vibration analysis
Experience with finite element modeling, specifically FEMAP/NX Nastran/CAE NX
Ability to identify and analyze critical load paths
