Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the program. Ensure that designs meet program requirements and are the lightest, lowest cost, and highest quality products consistent with schedule and budget objectives. The analyst may also be expected to derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract and distribute internal loads, and perform weight and stiffness optimization. Tools utilized may include FEMAP, NX,Teamcenter and other software applications.
This position will require significant travel initially, but will be permanently located in Melbourne, Fl

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited universitywith a minimum of14 years' experiencein Aircraft Structural Analysis or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) disciplinefrom an accredited university and12 years ofAircraft Structural Analysis.
  • Experience Analyzing Primary Aircraft Composite Structures.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance and ability toobtain access to Special ProgramsRequired
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

Airframe experience with Advanced Composite Materials is Preferred.
Knowledge of FEMAP and NX CAE.
Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
Must be a U.S. citizen and a DoD Secret security clearance is required.
