Candidate should be proficient in classical static strength hand analysis, Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) analysis, and finite element modeling and analysis. Should be able to develop and document detailed structural analyses in support of drawing release or aircraft repairs including but not limited to free body diagrams, internal or external loading, shear and moment diagrams, and calculation of internal stresses. Analyses will be in support of Material Review Board (MRB), Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) and fleet management activities. Knowledge of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), large transport aircraft structural design criteria, and nonstandard repair and equivalent strength analysis background is a plus. Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, mentor less experienced personnel, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 14 years experience in structural analysis or Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 12 years experience in structural analysis
Experience with MRB activities
Ability to obtain/maintain DoD secret clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering (ME/AE/CE) with minimum 12 years of experience in structural analysis.
Familiarity with B707 airframe including Boeing drawings and Boeing analysis techniques.
Experience working on an ASIP managed platform.
Experience with crack growth software-AFGROW.
Familiarity with FEMAP/NX Nastran.
Understanding of wing and fuselage loads development and spectrum generation.
