Roles and Responsibilities:

Manages the operation, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of all components in enterprise level storage systems, including SAN and NAS environments, to ensure functionality and efficiency to meet customer needs.

Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, installs and provisions storage related infrastructure.

In order to manage our mission essential back up environment, it will be critical for the successful candidates to develop close working relationships with team members, customer groups, and other teams.

Basic Qualifications:
The Storage Administrator shall have familiarity and experience with the following storage concepts and products:

Bachelor's degree in Science and 6 years of relevant experience
Experience installing HDS HNAS 3090, 4060 or other NAS Storage Arrays
3 years of experience migrating files between disparate storage systems
Experience in monitoring and resolving performance related issues with the HNAS 3090, 4060 or other NAS arrays
Familiar with Storage protocols such as: NFS, CIFS, iSCSI
Understanding of storage hardware concepts (e.g. Enclosures, Drives, RAID etc.)
Good understanding of disaster recovery concepts and techniques that applies to storage systems
Storage Replication, Snapshots, Mirroring, Backups experience
Familiar with Transparent disk/file system encryption and deduplication
Familiar with Network Attached Storage Arrays
Experience in Storage Area Network Arrays
Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications:
.Familiar with ITIL change management and incident management concepts.
.Installing EMC XtremIO Storage Arrays
.Configuration and management of EMC Data Domain storage arrays
