Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Senior Principal Financial Analyst to join our team in Dulles, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems seeks a Senior Principal Financial Analyst to support the sector's financial reporting, planning and analysis activities. Responsibilities include support and consolidation of financial results and forecasts, performing analysis against plan and forecast, support and preparation of monthly financial reports for presentation to various groups, development and implementation of planning tools, consolidation and analysis of the annual budget and forward pricing plans, development of valuable Key Performance Indicators analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders on a timely basis, preparation and analysis of numerous reports for internal and external customers, supporting executive presentations and experience using various financial systems (TM1, Cognos, Cost Point, Controller) and performing additional variance analysis as requested.
This position requires a self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to interface with various levels of management, internal and external customers while planning, executing and coordinating numerous concurrent activities with time critical schedules and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or business management with 14 years minimum of applicable experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with financial systems (e.g., TM1, Cognos, Cost Point, Controller) and strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and Power Point)
Ability to work independently, resolve complex issues, multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Ability to quickly reassess priorities and adapt as required
Strong background and understanding of accounting concepts and strong analytical skills
