The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, be results oriented and be capable of managing significantly diverse assignments. The selected candidate will support structural testing of a full-scale airframe. The candidate will be directly responsible for design, manufacturing and or procurement of all test stand hardware, include Reaction frame/Fixtures and associated tools and equipment. Candidate will also be responsible for Test Setup integration, including Flight hardware, Load Control System and the Data Acquisition System. The candidate will also develop/ write Test Procedures, oversee and or conduct structural tests and be willing to mentor less experienced engineers.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for coordinating with internal and external program customers for requirements derivation and flow down.
Test planning & scheduling
Cost reduction analysis
Optimizing cycle time
Test anomaly investigation
Creating test procedures & final test reports
Customer briefings
Responsible for lab safety procedures and developing a test article overload protection plan.
Act as the primary interface between Airframe Product Team and the Test Lab.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) plus 14 Years engineering experience; or Master's in STEM plus 12 Years engineering experience; or PhD plus 9 Year's engineering experience
Able and willing to travel short term as required by the statement of work
7 years of large scale structural platforms

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral/written communication skills evidenced by experience coordinating and communicating issues and status with production managers, maintenance personnel, and responsible engineers.
15 years systems testing experience on large scale structural platforms
Current, active DoD Secret
