Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.

Basic Qualifications:
At least nineteen (19) years' experience as a hands-on Systems Engineer providing technical leadership for a team of infrastructure system administrators.
At least ten (10) years' experience leading, planning, conducting, and coordinating the activities of senior level system engineers;
At least three (3) years of SIGINT experience solving varied technical/scientific problems, and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule
Experience with cross platform system administration (Linux and Windows).
Experience leading systems analysis, design, and architecture efforts.
Demonstrated the ability to solve complex system/integration problems through innovative solutions.
Experience administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management, and general maintenance.
Understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, Microsoft Windows and Linux desktop systems, performance tuning and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels)
Ability to write Perl and/or Shell scripts.
Experience using NIS, LDAP, SIMP or Active Directory for cross platform management.
Experience with server virtualization.
Experience with MachineShop and/or Cloud (AWS/OpenStack) technologies.
Knowledge of Ansible or Puppet for software deployment/configuration management.
Experience managing power, space and cooling issues.
Familiarity with the installation and configuration in a FOSS/COTS/GOTS environment.
Knowledge of Corporate services: NiagaraFiles (NiFi), ISLANDTRANSPORT, CASPORT, load balancing, and PKI.
Understanding of how Java, C/CC++, DBMS, and Perl work together.

Additional Requirements:
Experience leading teams of administrators and interfacing with user communities/technical customers.
Server virtualization.
Experience with cross platform system administration (Linux and Windows).
Familiar with agency corporate software baseline.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Security Clearance: Must have Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
Advance System Administration skills.
Experience with administering both virtual machines and bare metal servers.
Knowledge of Ansible or Puppet for software deployment and configuration management.
Knowledge of Perl and/or Shell scripting.
Ability to support a fast-paced program; service requests managed via JIRA ticketing and Confluence.
