Sr Principal Strategic Analyst

Northrop Grumman is seeking an analyst to join the corporate strategy and technology team in the company's corporate office in Falls Church, Virginia. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, proactive and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the strategic analysis director of the corporate strategy and analysis cell, the successful candidate will be responsible for playing a key role with strategy analysis efforts across all sectors driving proactive portfolio analysis and shaping. The candidate will also coordinate with corporate strategy leadership, serve as contact with external think tanks, strategic consultants, evaluate trends and disruptors and manage special tasking, to include long range corporate strategy options and analysis. The ability to work at multiple levels in, and across the organization to include the corporate staff, sectors and divisions, to develop and execute strategies and tactics that align with and support the company's business objectives is a must.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Work with the enterprise campaign and sector teams to analyze market segments, customer budgets and competitor's capabilities.
• Coordinate efforts with sector strategy and strategic consultants
• Interface with external think tanks, consultants, trends and disruptors
• Contribute to special tasking, long range corporate strategy options and analysis

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in strategic analysis and analytic support to senior executives on national security, military, modernization, customer, competitor and market issues, among others OR Master's with 8 years of experience.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and possess strong organization and planning skills.
• Possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization in a professional, organized manner and be able to operate on high-level exposure projects and in agile environments
• Excellent analytical, oral/written communication and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to function in high pressure and short-turnaround situations
• Demonstrates creativity, resourcefulness, and initiative

• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization in a professional, organized manner and be able to operate on high-level exposure projects and in agile environments
• Excellent analytical, oral/written communication and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to function in high pressure and short-turnaround situations
