Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Business Development Software Engineer out of El Segundo, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
You will support the software area for a large restricted program, performing development and support of operational software in adherence to project processes, and meeting schedule, customer, and contractual obligations.
You should be highly motivated with a passion for problem solving and be able to understand, design, code, and debug algorithms, providing elegant and innovative solutions.
You will identify and implement business development projects relating to new products and/or industries, technologies, or services. You will market, license opportunities, and determine, the feasibility of product development.
Position is contingent upon final SCI access

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 9 years related experience; Masters in STEM discipline with 7 years related experience, of a PhD with 4 years of related experience
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Java, C, C#, .Net
- Current SCI access or at least a DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access by start date
- Experience on research & development and/or business development projects
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), to generate engineering artifacts for handoff to software development
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
