Sr Principal Project Mgmt - TS/SCI w/poly required
Do you like engaging with team members and mission partners across technical domains and Information Technology environments? Then this position is for you. This position is a combination of project management, systems engineering, and technical leadership across a suite of applications in a multi-platform environment. This Project Manager will help the project team break down mission and business requirements into technical requirements, communicate those requirements and dependencies with stakeholders and the engineers, and drive the development of products from conception all the way through deployment and sustainment.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects. Responsible for the detailed schedule development and execution. Participates in ongoing communication with Sponsor counterparts (CETD/DXD/Branch PMs). Prioritizes and de-conflicts work and manages daily staff tasking. Enforces the Agile/Kanban and O&M processes and best practices as well as oversees cross-branch/division collaboration, planning management, balance work between engineering, development and O&M. Responsible for the management and participates in personnel management and program staffing activities. Identifies and communicate risks. Expected to spend 50% at Sponsor site.
Bachelor's degree10 years of experience, or Master's degree and 8 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills
Ability to produce detailed, accurate documentation (status reports, meeting minutes, etc.)
Experience with Jira and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Experience engaging with mid/senior level customer management
TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Experience leading one or more software development teams
Familiarity with AWS and/or SecDevOps concepts
Experience with Portfolio for Jira
Experience with Microsoft Project and Teams
Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, and/or PMI-ACP)
