Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently seeking a Sr. PrincipalMRB Engineer to assist with the disposition of withhold internal/supplier tags. Position will be located in St. Louis, MO Candidate should have experience with designing repairs for discrepant detail parts and assemblies fabricated from composite materials. Tasks will include: interfacing with multiple cost centers/suppliers, dispositioning of discrepant material tags, interfacing with stakeholder groups such as Structural Analysis, Materials & Processing and Manufacturing personnel in the design center and build facilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must. Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System, MES, and a Northrop Grumman MRB EN signature is a plus. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of9 years of experience in design and fabrication of metallic and/or composite airframe structures or a Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of7 years of experience in design and fabrication of metallic and/or composite airframe structures Experience with repair processes for metallic and composite materials used in aerospace structures This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Preferred Qualifications: An active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with a periodic review/re-investigation within the last 5 years and the ability to obtain and maintain access tospecial programs. Hands on experience in a composites manufacturing facility. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate in a team environment Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions Experience with military specs and standards Experience interfacing with a military customer
