Sr Principal Low Observable (LO) Test Engineer 4

As a B-2 System Test Low Observable (LO) Engineer your responsibilities will be: Develop and publish detailed test plans, test schedules, and test procedures for platform LO testing and verification. Provides laboratory support for integration testing. You will be required to understand LO requirements, plans, and test requirements; coordinate and develop the required tools, materials, and tests. Support and host test planning working groups. Interface with test article design and analysis teams to define test configuration and data requirements.
- You will coordinate LO requirements with RCS designers and supportability/maintainability engineers to ensure the system meets LO requirements.
- Perform RCS analysis using industry standard tooling.
- Testing and integrating antenna and radomes designs
- Integrating Low Observable technologies and design requirements into current and future designs
- Providing test requirement oversight to RCS model fabrication
B-2 Program Security Requirements:
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret and a background investigation within the scope of six years. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and program specific accesses.
9 Years test experience with Bachelors in Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics); 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
Current Secret clearance required to start
Must be able to obtain special access to a SAP.
Ability and willingness to work non-standard shifts/overtime and travel for repeated short periods is essential.
Test experience of multiple disciplines (Payloads, Mission Systems, or Subsystems).
Current SAP, or SCI clearance
Experience in flight testing, with ability to work with engineering to develop solutions to integration issues, and to bridge between the customer users and Northrop Grumman designers.
