Sr. Principal Engineer Test

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Engineer Test.

Summary of Job:

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 9 years of experience in Flight Test Instrumentation Design and Operations.

- Must have a minimum of Master's Degree in STEM with 7 years of experience in Flight Test Instrumentation Design and Operations.

- Must have a minimum of PhD in STEM with 4 years of experience in Flight Test Instrumentation Design and Operations.

- Must have an active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance with a refresh/reinvestigation done within the last 6 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarization and experience with B-2 aircraft systems and the application of instrumentation hardware on Flight Test aircraft.

In depth knowledge of Flight Test Instrumentation to include data system architectures.
