Northrop Grumman is offering an on-site technical support opportunity for conducting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing in the Andover, MA area. Testing is in support of the US Army's Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS). The responsibilitiesinvolve making the assessment of IBCS performance in acritical sensor processing, launcher control, and interceptor fly-out interactionin a high fidelity environment. The IBCS project is managed out of Huntsville, AL.

Additional Duties:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 9 years of experience or a Master's Degree with7 years of experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Experience in DoD Acquisition Program system integration labs
  • Knowledge of Air & Missile Defense (AMD) concepts and organizations.
  • Knowledge of test and evaluation procedures for AMD HWIL System Laboratories, System of System installations, and developmental and operational architectures.
