Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is looking for a Structural Design Engineer.
The structural design engineer will be responsible for composite and metallic structural design in Oklahoma City, OK supporting the Hardware Sustaining IPT and other Mod programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for new conceptual layouts, detailed engineering design of metallics and composites, modifications, integration of advanced technologies, BTP/PDP releases, Statements of Work for individual projects, and performing technical reviews. Also, in this group, there is a full position for Standard Repair/Disposition work.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from accredited institution and9 years with Bachelors in Science,7 years with Masters, or4 years with PhD.
Knowledge of best design practices and applicable processes.
Experience with BTP development, applicable notes, BOM, sign-off process.
Experience with CPLM, Teamcenter, FiberSIM, CATIA V5, and NX.
Active DoD Secret Clearance with a background investigation completed within the last six years with the ability to obtain program access
Experience in writing Standard Repairs and Dispositions.
Expert knowledge of Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Demonstrated affordability approaches in structural designs, including integration of platform build sequences and designing for manufacturing.
Team player and demonstrated collaboration skills.
