Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Successful candidate will be responsible for Air Vehicle Subsystems Design and integration. Ideal candidate needs to possess strong leadership skills as well as technical skills in subsystems design, subsystems architecture and AV integration. In addition to having excellent teamwork skills, the ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in circuit design, be familiar with electrical system requirements and able to integrate various subsystem together. Ideal candidate should also be familiar with Electrical Power System designand experience supporting major milestones such as SRR, CDR, PDR, and TIMs, andmanage cost and schedule performance to the earn value baseline and program schedule.

In addition, experience with Design, Analysis, Procurement Support and Fabrication/Assembly Support for Wire Harness and RF Cables inclusive of Wire Shielding and grounding methodology, EMI/RFI, circuit redundancy and separation techniques desired. Possess skills necessary to read Electrical Schematics, create Cable Block Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams and translate info/data into Cable and Wire Harness Diagrams. Also responsible for the detailed design of electrical panels/assemblies (circuit breaker panels, junction boxes, control panels). Basic understanding of Electrical Power System load analysis is a plus.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires BSSTEM Degree &9 years engineering experience, or Masters in Engineering & 7 years or PhD in Engineering &4 years.

Possess strong background in Air Vehicle System Design and Integration in addition to, Architecture Development and or Aerospace engineering design.

Ability to obtain DOD secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with leadership quality are preferred. Familiar with the Aerospace standards and or NG standards on electrical cable and harness design processes are a plus. Has previous work experiences in Air Vehicle products.
