Sr Principal Cyber Software Engineer 4 - TS/SCI

The Senior Principal Cyber Software Engineer position will be located in Gaithersburg, MD,and requires an active TS/SCI Clearance.

Position Description:
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of related expe9ence, a Master's Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Poly required.
Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
Java or C++ experience.
Linux/SolarisorWindowsexperience required.
Experience porting applications to AWS.
