Northrop Grumman has a Solaris Systems Administration opportunity for an experienced System Administrator.

Roles and Responsibilities include the following:
Solaris/Unix Administration including building, patching and monitoring activities
Supports multiple stand-alone and clustered server environments.
Experience troubleshooting performance issues in a large datacenter environment
Experience managing SAN and NAS storage
Ability to analyze data and requirements in order to architect solutions for the customer
Ability to complete complex projects with little supervision

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience or High School diploma with 13 years of related experience.
10 years of experience supporting servers in a large datacenter
10 years of experience as a Solaris Systems Administrator is highly preferable
Working knowledge of advanced Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 features including: containers, LDOMs and zfs.
Working knowledge of Oracle SuperCluster engineered systems
10 years' experience writing scripts with a scripting language such as ksh, bash, PERL, etc.
Experience with Solaris or Linux virtualization concepts
Familiarity with Change Management and other ITIL principles
Ability to be part of a 24-7 on-call rotation
. Must be a US Citizen or a Green card Holder.

Preferred Qualifications:

Veritas NetBackup experience
Proficiency with XVM OpsCenter
Linux familiarity - especially RedHat
Veritas Volume Manager Experience Preferred
SAN and NAS storage Experience Preferred
Windows 2012
