Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector has a need for an SCI cleared Software Process Engineer to join a diverse team in Redondo Beach, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

The successful candidate will join the Consolidated Operations and Anomaly Support Team (COAST) in its Program and Software area. The candidate will perform as the Process Lead supporting adherence to company and project processes, customer and contractual obligations, and facilitating multi-team stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities include evaluation and reporting of applicable program metrics, compliance with command media, and training for overall company and program processes/compliance. The Process Lead is the primary focal point for facilitating program audits, life-cycle reviews and evaluations.

Candidate should be highly motivated with a drive for understanding company policies and procedures, how they apply to the program, and ensuring the policies are being followed. Candidate should also have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management as well as have demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or Engineering from an accredited university with 5 years of experience or a Masters in in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or Engineering from an accredited university with 3 years of experience, or a PhDwith 0 years.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or Engineering from an accredited university with 9 years of experience or a Masters in in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or Engineering from an accredited university with 7 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Program and/or engineering project management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to generate engineering artifacts
  • Experience with Command Media policies and procedures, PEF (Program Execution Framework), IPRS (Intranet Program Review System), NGPro (MS Access database), CRTM (Contracts Requirements Traceability Matrix), AS9100, CMMI
