Software Engineer 2/3
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Software Engineer 2/3 to support design and development of software products for the Support Operations segment of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) Program that manages component and system health and status. IBCS encompasses development and engineering of a U.S. Army warfighter-centric battle command capability that integrates current and future air and missile defense systems. Specific areas of responsibility will focus on the IBCS software responsible for the management and reporting of the status and configuration of ASoS components, task force configuration, and external systems.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the requirements below.
Position may be filled at a level 2 or 3.
Basic qualifications for a level 2:
BS STEM degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Basic qualifications for a level 3:
BS STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Basic qualifications for a level 2 and 3:
- Strong software development background with proficiency in C and Java software languages is required.
- Must have an active/current Secret Clearance
- Experience in Air & Missile Defense Command and Control programs such as PATRIOT, SENTINEL, C2BMC and THAAD is preferred.
- Experience with the LINK16 standard, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and working in a CMMI Level 5 environment is a plus.
