Software Engineer 2 or 3-TS/SCI

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Software Engineer 2 or 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at the Office of Naval Intelligence. (ONI). The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's AVIPSS program and work onsite at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) to support software development efforts on the AVIPSS Program.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Serve as an integral member of the development team, operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:

"This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3

Basic Qualifications for a Software Engineer 2 is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM related field (e.g. Information Technology, Information Science, etc) and a minimum of 2 years' related experience.

Basic Qualifications for a Software Engineer 3 is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM related field (e.g. Information Technology, Information Science, etc) and a minimum of 5 years' related experience.

  • Experience developing software applications in Java
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent teamwork and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing SQL queries preferably for an Oracle database
  • Experience in software development with the following technologies Xcode, C, Objective-C, C#, Ruby, C , Perl, Python, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML 5/CSS, XML, XSD, KML
