Software Engineer 2 / 3

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer 2 or Software Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

The selected candidate will provide software development support at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for the SPIRENT program. This work is likely to include C# development in Visual Studio, Windows .DLL development, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) development within the .NET ecosystem. This work will also involve programmatically working with cryptographic keys. Experience interfacing with volatile memory to erase, store, and access keys is preferred.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited institution plus 2 years of software development experience, or 0 years with Master of Science Degree.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited institution plus 5 years software development experience, or 3 years with Masters Degree.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

  • Experience with C#, .NET, Windows .DLL development, Visual Studio.
  • Experience working with cryptographic keys, to include interfacing with volatile memory to erase, store, and access them.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
