Software Development Analyst - Software Products

Our Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Software Development Analyst in our San Diego, CA location. The selected candidate will support theEngineering & Technology System Program Management Office Autonomous Design CoE, and participate with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) within the Software Engineering Domain. This position will require the incumbent tohave astrong technical background and familiarity with the functions, processes, and capabilities in native Engineering applications.

Primary location will be San Diego, CA, and the candidate can be hired as a level 2 or level 3, depending upon experience/education.
Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

Bachelor of Science degree inSoftware Engineering or related field and 2 years of relevant experience. (appropriate amount of work experience and education will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)
The ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Experience in engineering design and/or analysis practices.
Experience in embedded and on-board software development.

Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience. (appropriate amount of work experience and education will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)
The ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Experience in engineering design and/or analysis practices.
Experience in embedded and on-board software development.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with DevOps process, and software development environments including Atlassian Jira, BitBucket, and Crowd
Master's degree in Software Engineering.
Background in facilitating productivity and efficiencies using UML approaches to establish technical roadmaps and strategies
