Software Development Analyst 3/4

Application Engineer needed to support engineering tools in both classified and unclassified environments for Military Aircraft Systems (MAS) in Space Park, CA. This position will deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of commercial applications used by MAS Software and Systems Engineering such as IBM ClearCase, ClearQuest, Rational Team Concert, DOORS, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian BitBucket, git, and others. The candidate should have a strong technical background and familiarity with the functions, processes and capabilities of engineering applications associated with Systems and/or Software Engineering. This position will be supporting the Space Park Center of Excellence (CoE).

Additional responsibilities include:

Working with vendors to solve issues
Research technical problems
Work complex issues

This requisition may be filled at a level 3 or level 4 based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications Level 3:

Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM Discipline and 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with common scripting languages
Possess strong oral/written communications skills
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Current Security+ certification or ability to obtain Security+ certification
Active DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to receive future Top SCI program access

Basic Qualifications Level 4:

Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM Discipline and 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience with common scripting languages
Possess strong oral/written communications skills
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Current Security+ certification or ability to obtain Security+ certification
Active DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to receive future Top SCI program access

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality
Ability to work independently and in teams to resolve issues and deliver results
Current DoD Secret security clearance
Active TS/SCI clearance
