Description of Work:
Support the development of a SharePoint enterprise design including the infrastructure design, software configuration, migration path from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online and ongoing technical support requirements. This includes documentation of all configurations for future support purposes. Some weekend/afterhours work may be required on occasion.

Development Support Work:

  • Develop any automation required to build, configure and preload data for the continuously growing SharePoint sites that will be required.
  • Collaborate with other SharePoint Developers on Team Foundation Server to create SharePoint solutions using C# in Visual Studio.
  • Establish and enforce system policies that will adhere to requirements requested by the field for implementation of the enterprise SharePoint solution with regards to file content, server storage and user capabilities.
  • Develop tools and document procedures required to manage and maintain the proposed design.

Administrative Support Work:
  • Provide ongoing SharePoint administration services, including SharePoint site administration.
  • Provide third-level technical support for the setup and creation of SharePoint sites and support the community in developing such.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint problems and user community questions as necessary.
  • Provide third-level support to problem records opened by end-users and representatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems using research tools such as Microsoft TechNet, Search Engines, Microsoft Online, and Resource Kits.
  • Evaluate and initiate SharePoint solutions to the existing infrastructure
Provide written recommendations and documentations for designs for enterprise deployments of SharePoint, as well as documentation of the solutions implemented.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 9 Years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree and 7 Years of relevant work experience or PhD degree and 4 years of relevant work experience OR a minimum 11 years of relevant work experience as an Computer Systems Analyst/Programmer in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience Administering or Developing a SharePoint environment.
  • 2 years of experience scripting in C# or PowerShell
  • 1 year of experience with SharePoint 2013 development technologies including CSOM, SharePoint 2013 Add-Ins, JSOM, and the SharePoint 2013 REST API.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card holder) is required in order to obtain and maintain required Position of Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

  • Experience using SharePoint Online and/or Office365
  • Experience with SharePoint Online Development
  • Experience using Metalogix Content Matrix
  • Experience migrating SharePoint Data
  • Experience with web development technologies like JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery
  • Experience using the SharePoint object model and SharePoint solutions building
  • Working knowledge of Windows Servers, IIS and Kerberos.
  • Understanding of the GSA 508 Accessibility tool
  • Understanding of ASP.NET MVC in Visual Studio.
  • Understanding of the Agile Methodology
  • Experience in managing and/or coordinating major software development and deployment efforts
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in coordinating multi-component projects
