Senior Technical Analyst - TS/SCI w/poly required

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior TechnicalAnalyst to join our team. You will have an advanced level of understanding in technical analysis, preferably with IC partners. You must have a minimum of 14 years of experience preparing finished intelligence products and reviewing for quality assurance. You will be responsible for all projects assigned to the program. You must be able to meet established schedules or resolve technical or operational problems. Candidate will have to generate, propose and manage IRAD projects as well as be responsible for generating new business.

The candidate will provide critical research, analysis, and reporting in support of intelligence mission. Must be able to apply scientific, technical, and engineering analysis to address challenging strategic and tactical intelligence problems. You must be able to produce timely, well-written intelligence products and assist in quality control of analytic reports.

The successful candidates will be comfortable acting as an advisor to management and to our customer on advanced analytical and technical matters specific to our customer's mission. They will help the team guide the development of advanced ideas into final products and/or briefings. This position demands a self-starter who is able to work independently and with the rest of the customer team to make professional connections within the customer organization and beyond in order to achieve progress toward long-range goals and objectives. It also requires frequent communication with the customer's technical lead.

This position is located in Northern Virginia. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, or similar discipline and at least 14 years of experience in the preparation of technical intelligence reports.
The candidate will have experience in the Intelligence Community.
Requires solid understanding and use of IC all-source databases, search engines, and the standard Microsoft Office programs.
Experience in professional, peer-reviewed publications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred experience supporting WMD topics.
