Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Mid-level Oracle Database Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Northern Virginia. Transforming the future of
technology, the qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's National Security Solutions Operating Unit.

This position will support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD). CBP PSPD supports a broad range of complex business systems which are instrumental to the CBP mission of securing
our borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. This position requires a highly motivated, self-reliant team player.

Successful candidates will work as part of an agile team and must be a quick learner with strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and soft skills.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors with 10 years or 8 years with Masters with Oracle Database Design and Administration experience
- SQL Developer experience
- Experience in database upgrades and migrations
- Experience creating application layer functions accessing/writing to relational databases
- Design logical and physical data models
- PL/SQL, Stored procedures, functions, packages development experience
- Experience developing and executing SQL scripts to create new database objects and maintain databases
- Strong experience with database optimization, performance, data integrity, consistency, security and privacy
- Collaborate with Java developers and DBAs to implement database scripts to meet project goals

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with CBP
- Active TS or Secret Clearance
- Experience with Atlassian toolsets, including JIRA and Confluence
- Java development experience preferred
- Experience NoSQL or MySQL
- Experience with TOAD
