Security Coordinator 4
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team of qualified security professionals. This position will be located in Woodland Hills, CA.
Selected candidate will be responsible for a multitude of security tasks to include SCIF management, security education, personnel security, COMSEC and OPSEC. This position will work closely with the program security officer and Facility Security Officer, as well as belong to a team of talented security professionals. This position supports security requirements for the DoD.
High School Diploma and 6 years additional education and/or experience; experience to include Industrial Security or related.
Current active Top Secret clearance.
Must be professional and have excellent customer service skills.
Strong communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must be self-motivated and able to troubleshoot basic problems.
Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision.
DoD Security experience.
PERSEC experience for DoD customer.
Maintain accurate records to include company database information for clearances, facilities, contracts, customer decisions, and other critical compliance areas.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in all facets of industrial Security including but not limited to: Physical, Personnel, Information Management, Information Systems oversight, OPSEC, COMSEC, Counterintelligence, Supply Chain, Security Education & Awareness, and general Program Protection methodologies.
Supports program staffing requirements through management of security clearance processing, scheduling, and security education and training activities.
Process, update and maintain visitor, badge, and access control records.
Knowledge and experience working with various physical security systems such as intrusion detection, access control, perimeter protection, and Emergency Response and Crisis Management planning.
Support day to day SCIF management actions to include customer engagement
Effectively interface to program managers, engineering staff, functional teams, and government representatives.
Engage with and support routine employee Security requests and advise on solutions to problems and issues.
Assist with security incident investigations, identify root cause, corrective actions, and prepare reports for internal and external coordination addressing investigation results, culpability, impact assessments and future mitigation as applicable.
Familiarity of ICD/ DCIDs.
3+ years as a security professional.
